Lucy Lawless is a New Zealand actor and singer who has a net worth of $33 million. She is most recognized for her role as the title character on the TV series "Xena: Warrior Princess", which aired 143 episodes from 1995 until 2001. Lucille Frances Ryan was born on the 29th of March in 1968 in Auckland, New Zealand. Her mother was a school teacher and her father worked as banker prior to becoming the Mayor of the city. She is the second-youngest in the order, and is the youngest of five siblings. Lawless describes her family as Irish Catholic, and she is grateful to her mother's participation with the community as her inspiration. With an early passion for acting, Lawless appeared in her first musical when she was 10 and continued to study acting through high school. She attended Marist College upon her graduation and later transferred to Auckland University to finish her master's degree in language. When she was 21 Lawless won the 1989 Miss New Zealand title.
