Carrie was a star on Netflix's "Jessica Jones" between 2015 and 2019. "Carrie-Anne Moss" was born in Burnaby (British Columbia), Canada, on August 21 the 21st of August, 1967. Named in honor of "Carrie Anne", a 1967 hit song by The Hollies, she was born when Barbara was pregnant. Moss was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. When she was 11 years old, of age, she began to join the Vancouver children's theater. She traveled across Europe with the Maggee Secondary Choir during her senior year. Then, she booked her first TV role on the show "Dark Justice" that year. While Moss was on tour through Europe the choir stopped at Spain. Then she was able to book the role of Tara Clerk to Judge Bruce Marshall in "Dark Justice." In 1992, she moved to Los Angeles along with the show's cast. The series ended her run after the third and final season. In Los Angeles, she enrolled in Pasadena's American Academy of Dramatic Arts and was cast in the "Melrose Place" spinoff "Models, Inc." opposite Dallas alumni Linda Gray and Garcelle Beauvais. After one season, the show was pulled.
